Subject: Hissing Sound?
IP: Logged

Message:
I can't decide if its a problem or not. But when I turn the truck off after a little bit of driving, there is this hissing coming from the passenger side of the raditor, right near where the metal pipes come out of it. Is this hissing normal?

Mine does it without even using the A/C. The dealer told me it was normal.

I have that now, but mine is more like a vacuum leak I think. My idle has gone to the sh!tter an dit idles JUST above 500 and rolling down the windows can actually slightly stall it. It goes up and down at times too. Very odd noise and I'm getting it looked at on Friday, anyone else have this hissing??

Could it also be the cat, I feel like I've lost a bit of power and I smell the cat/fuel often when I get out of the vehicle. It only has 5600 miles on it for gods-sake!
