alright, I am trying to get my tailgate handle off and have no clue...I have removed the three torx screws on the inside of the tailgate but noticed that it only takes the handle off...I need to get the outer bezel off to get the handle part out...anyone know how? Maybe someone could scan the FSM for me...any help will be appreciated!

The bezel is pressed in you have to press in on a edge and pop it off,I have a nylon screw driver blade that I used covered with a rag,be carefull not scratch it up or slip off and gouge the tailgate

Art is right. I just put in a tailgate lock, and let me tell you, it's a b!tch! Be VERY VERY patient, or you will be buying a new handle. Best loosen/remove the three bolts on the backside first. Take your first two fingers of each hand, put them on the bottom of the handle, and push down while pulling out, and it should pop, but it may take some work, I have NO idea how they assembled that damn handle at the factory. NO EXTRA ROOM AT ALL!

Good luck.

What size torx bit are the three bolts on the inside of the tailgate that hold the handle on?
