Liblackdak, i was thinking of them dropping a bare bones 350 that can only mange 250hp and only 330lb of tq. True if you are spending the time and the money to drop a 350 in an s-10 i would think they would what at least 300hp coimg out of it. And yes in a lighter truck it will spank the dakota. But drop a HEAVY 350 in an s-10 and the weight will easly come in at around 3700 to 4000lbs and a 360 dakota reg cab that is does not way much more than that. You hear reg cab S-10s coming in at only 3000lb but that is because they have a 4bager and a 5sped.

anything can beat anything else but a stock RT could not take an s10 with JUST a 350
