www.ebay.com

Type what you want to find into the "search" box.

Hit "enter".

If you want to bid on an item, you'll need to register as a member. eBay has a very complete set of instructions, and a ton of other useful information to help you get the most out of their site.

Enjoy!

If you have a problem finding it, just go to Google or any search engine and hit up a search on 'eBay' or 'eBay Automotive'.

Once you are on eBay there's a separate section called "eBay Automotive".

I usually go there & hit up a search on 'Dodge Dakota'. There's usually 10 or more pages that show up as a result.

The most important thing you need to know about EBAY. Once you register you can "watch an item" The key here is to watch the item you want to bid on until the last ten seconds of the auction. Syncronize your watch with the Ebay timer and you will have no problem with this. When you go to put your bid in never put in the smallest incrament allowed. Put in something a little higher than the last bid. Let's say the bid is at $60.00 and you know that it is worth $85.00 including shipping. So with ten seconds left in the bid you would put inbetween $70.00-$80.00. You should then win the bid. I know some people here will probably say that this is cheating or something, but I learnt really quick about getting beat on stuff that I really wanted. It's the nature of the beast on Ebay.

I bookmarked the dodge dakota pages, so I can get there really fast. Instead of bidding, and re-bidding, I bid "by proxy" which means that I bid the maximum amount that I am willing to spend. It automatically will put in raised bids (I think it is in 50¢ increments) until I am either ahead or beat. It will ask you to register the first time you make a bid, or try to contact a seller, all that means is that it will ask you for all pertinent information, just like when you attend a physical auction, in order to qualify as a bidder. Have fun and good luck!!
