Will the tranny fit in a 69 2.5L 4-cylinder. hmm...I'm not too sure, you'd probably have to let someone know what type of vehicle that 69 2.5L is.

Also, would it be a 5-spd? Well...which R/T is this you are talking about? I, at first, assumed you were talking Dakotas here, but they weren't around in the 60's. If you are talking about the tranny from a Dakota R/T, the answer to that is no. They didn't make the Dakota R/T in a manual.

Answer those questions and I'm sure your luck with responses will be greater.

I'm just going to guess here because I have never tried it, but chances are it won't. Similarly, you couldn't put a 5.9 into your truck because it wouldn't bolt up to the tranny.

With the time you'd spend setting something like that up, you'd be better off saving up for a nice downpayment on an R/T.
