my o.d. is acting up, intermitently my trans. won't shift into o.d. when it should. I'll be drivig for a while when the trans. should have already shifted into o.d. then all the sudden it will shift. Is there a solenoid going bad or maybe the switch on the dash going bad. any suggestions appreciated.

Check some of the older posts. Is it cold when it doesn't shift in O.D.? Apparently they are designed to not shift into OD until a certain temp is reached to prevent wear. I am not really familiar with the problem, I have a 5 speed. There are a lot of older posts on the subject.
