I am planning on lowering my 99 RC RT with the DJM 3"-5" drop. But I dont know if it will work. If the factory lowering uses -1" control arms then the DJM setup wont help me any. It will only lower 2". If its lowered by coils then I will end up with a 4"-6" drop.

Does anyone know how the 99 RT's came lowered from the factory?

The R/T is lowered with a change of springs. All of the control arms are the same.

so if I lower it with a western chassis 2"-4", which uses a-arms and shackle & hanger, it will look like I have a 3"-5" because the coils add the extra inch? Is this true?

Thanks for the help
Brian

Anyone with a RT have pics with a DJM 3"-5" drop?

Yes, if you use the R/T springs, it will be lower than if you used the sport springs..... so theoretically it will be 4"-6", or pretty friggin' low.

Somebody else has bound to have done this already. I'm sure pics won't be too far away.
