The Lund hood scopes that you have on your truck are they the medium size or the Large size ones i was looking to put a set on my truck but didn't know which ones look the best and i sure like the ones on your truck on the way they look/.

Hey where did you mount your 5 channel amp? And where did you "tap" the power for your amp? I'm trying to find a spot to put one, and where to draw the power from. BTW love your choice for recievers... i got the very same one, love it to death!

The hood scoop’s are the medium size. I hope your truck is not the same color as mine! I paid $63.00 for a pint of intense blue “ man did I feel a little violated after forking out the cash”. :-P Now I have allot of extra paint so I need to figure out what to buy and paint next.

Mr. Sleepy,
The normal place where CC Dak owners put their amps is under the drivers seat. The amp I have is why to long! I try to mount the amp under the seat and it hung out almost 6 inches. My goal when installing my system was to conceal as much as possible. I mounted the amp under the CC seat on the driver’s side in the already provided covey hole. You will need to cut a small hole in the corner of the plastic to allow room for the wires.
The best place I have found to hook up the power source is right next to the battery. If you follow the power cable you will see it run to a black plastic box on the left side of the engine compartment. You can loosen the bolt that holds that power wire on and hook yours up there. Some one else might have another idea, but that is what I did.
My future plan is to get rid of the tube and mount a sub under the rear passenger side jump seat.
