Usaly when that happens it is the tv cable, it needs adjusting, its wird how just that cable being unadjusted dose so much, but look into that, mine was slipping from first to second and i adjusted the cable and now it is fine.

i have a 2002 dakota quad cab six cyl 4x2 my transmission is a 42fre.the tv cable was the first thing looked at.call your local attourney generals office and ask them to send you the paper work.you need to have at least four attempts to repair the problem and or 30 days in the shop to meet the lemon law rules in new york state.
