I don't like those shroud things around the plugs in the new trucks, they make getting to the plugs a bltch, but I guess they are a good idea.

Your truck would not run without those "shroud things". If you have the 4.7 those are your distributors.

No I'm talking about the shroud that protects the plugs. I've got a 3.9, I'd like to see what you are talking about the 4.7, I've never got to look real close at a 4.7. Overhead cam in a truck, hummmmm, my friends honda has that.

Next time you change plugs, get a short piece (3 1/2")of 3/8" fuel line and use it to "fish out" and replace the plugs by the tips.
It makes it real easy to get em in and out. Also prevents cross threading.
