Yes I know. I am feeling a little stupid right now having to ask this, but what is the purpose of the Driveshaft loop. I was looking at some pictures of an install and I still cant pick up what its importance is and the such. Anyone wish to enlighten me?

the purpose of a drive shaft loop is to prevent your vehicle from catipulting if your u-joints breaks.

It required if you are running so fast on sactioned drag strips. I can't remember at what speed it is required... We catipulted a 65 Dart on the exhaust system once, I can't imagine how much better it would be with a driveshaft -vs- a 2" single exhaust pipe!
