Subject: Speaker Locations?
IP: Logged

Message:
I have seen the truck and there are several obvious speaker locations. There is the lower location in each door (2), the tweeter location in each door (2 more), and the rear club cab locations (2 more)just under the side windows. That's 6 I count, and the pamphlet says 8. Where are the other two? Are there any in the dash?

Thanks!
Dan

Just a very uneducated guess.....I haven't had much time with the truck yet, but they may be above the rear cupholders (in the club cab). I know it looks like a vent (which it may be also) but there may be a "non-direct firing" speaker in there that provides low end........this is just a thought....either that or the rear (obvious) speakers are 2 ways and Dodge is padding the count. I'll check it out tomorrow when I have some time and if nobody else posts a better answer, I'll get back to you.

Ya Mine said 8 as well. I only found 6. I found a great sub box that hides away tho. Go to mtx.com Look at the thunderforms. It replaces the tool chest in the club cab trucks. I am going to put one in my truck. I am way excited. I was worred about where I was gunna put the box but this is a great alt.

Look Closely at the two in the rear cab. The speakers are 2-way. I think Dodge counts this as 2 speakers.
