Just curious, I had a Vortex Muffler cut in to the stock exhaust. I like the sound but was wondering if a borla intercooled tip or a turndown tip would make it just a tad louder? without any of the dreaded "RICYINESS"

If you install a turndown right behind the muffler, it will be louder. It will be louder inside the cab also, which some people do not like.

What about a turndown at the usual exhaust location?
And info about the intercooled borlas would also be appreciated
