Subject: Different Brake upgrades

Message:
After looking at LOTS of postings about brake problems/upgrades for the Dak I have learned a bunch, but have new and different questions. I have a 2000 QC with rear ABS, I ordered the rear antilock because my 98 CC had 4 wheel ABS and after test driving a number of trucks it was clear the rear only system wasn't AS spongy as the 2 wheel. Most people seem to like the Powerslot rotors and Hawk pads. Is this upgrade really enough? Neither of my Daks have had enough braking power to ever lock the fronts on dry roads, ABS or not, and on all I've driven the pedal feel is very spongy if you really nail it hard. Has anyone looked at other upgrades such as different brake lines etc, if so did it help, or is the rotor/pad upgrade enough to eleminate the problem? Also, I remember reading a review of the Durango that said it has larger diameter front rotors, is this true, are they a bolt on upgrade? Last, I have seen on the build option sheet both 2" and 2.5" rear drum options, my truck has 2", anyone know if this makes a big difference?
