 Subject: Steam @intake manifold

We have a 95 Dakota with 4 cyl. Noticed that we have steam rising from the intake manifold, plus we're losing coolant and here seems to be excessive steam in the exhaust. Any ideas?

almost bet even money you have a blown head gasket or cracked head Run a pressure check on the cyl.

A Leakdown test is also in order.
(Pressurise the cooling system and verify it holds pressure.)
