Message: don't know about carbon fiber but for about $7 you could what I did and use a lower screendoor grill. the kind with 1/8 inch holes. make a template of the grill and cut to fit. material is dead soft aluminum and easy to work with; also keeps out bugs and small rocks. installs with wire ties your choice of color.
