Moparfest is being held on the 17th and 18th of August in New Hamburg, Ontario (just outside of London) If we were to meet there, we could take in the show, show off our trucks, and maybe even win a prize! This year they are giving away two Dodge Demons and last year I saw at least a dozen Daks there.

When is it a good time for everyone ? Probablly sometime after x-mas ?

CW - I know you're from Drumheller, if we managed to find a good time to meet, would you be able to make it out to Calgary ?

We could find a spot that isn't too far for everyone, but yet in a high profile area so hopefully we can draw other Dak owners off the street and get a really big crowd around our Daks.

Sounds good ! Perhaps when the dust settles from x-mas and New Year's, we can get together.

I've never been to Racecity, but I believe they still have the 1/4 Mile because in the summer time they hold secret streets (or something like that) where anyone in any type of car can race each other.

I agree with Jeff. This snow crap sucks. If it didn't snow the other day, I would've washed my truck by now. As it stands, it is covered in road salt and grime.

As a suggestion, what about the Home Depot across the street from Chinook Centre Mall ? If we can hang out somewhere close to the pedestrian overpass (it'll make it easier for everyone to find), there shouldn't be many cars parked there and Home Depot shouldn't kick us out for being on private property (or for lack of parking space). As well, that location has alot of road traffic because of Macleod Tr., that way hopefully we can draw other Dak owners off the street and get an even bigger meet happening !

Hey everybody, Isn't the Calgary saying,"It's the only place you can slip on the ice, fall into the mud and get up and dust yourself off"? Anywho, having a meet right now I think is a waste since this weather you never know. Why don't we wait till like April or May and meet up then? Why not the Willy's on Mcleod? He won't mind having a bunch of Dakota's there!! And we can surly pull some Dakota's off of the road. Plus we will be near the Toyota dealership to laugh at when all the test drives go by.

I never heard that saying, and I've been living here for over 20 years !!! It's quite funny !

I don't have a problem meeting up in the spring time. Will everyone be checking up on this board then tho' ?

I know that on weekends that Willy's on Macleod has alot of "show" cars hanging out there, so I know he won't mind too much. Funny thing is, I used to work for him years ago. Don't know if he remembers me or not.

There is also a Kia dealership across the street (if my memory serves me correctly) that we can laugh at too.
