Subject: Changing Headlights?
IP: Logged

Message:
Well i just finished changing my headlights on my 2002 QC i thought it was going to be easy turned out i had to take of the whole headlight. But anyways it gives the truck a little cleaner look, the only problem is that i can't change the color of the fog lamps because people said they don;t make that bulb.. Anyways just in case anybody else is going to change there headlights its easier to just take off the 3 bolts at rather then fussing around with trying to get your hand in there.

Changing Headlights or is that BULBS

You changed the HEADLIGHTs? Or was it just the halogen gas filled quartz envolopes. (some call them bulbs) with some higher-wattage units?

You may want to get used to changing them from INSIDE the hood. Those fancy high-wattage things tend to burn out quickly especially in cold weather. (there is a REASON that DC uses the bulbs they specify)

If you use higher wattage ones you can risk burning out the daytime light modual.

Dakotas do not have the daytime running lights here in the United States. I do not think that the Rams do either. Come to think of it, no Dodge product offers standard daytime running lights (not that I can find anyway). Most Chevys/GMCs do, and a lot of Fords do as well.
