Subject: Hard shifting when cold...?

My 88 3.9l 5spd, is very hard to shift in and out of first and especially second when it is still cold. Once im driving for a few minutes it seems to go away. Is there any way to remedy this problem short of tranny rebuild? Any nice tranny lubes u’vre tried? Or any other suggestions are welcome. Thanks a lot,

-Jason

Redline Synthetic MTL. Use a lighter weight of gear lube and it will shift easier. Your gear lube is realy thick when cold like honey in a deep freexer.
