kicker01 where abouts are you moving too? i live on a road called Lake Georgia Dr or street. its right near the publix plaza. so your gonna be a freshman then right? let me know whats going on. it would be cool to meet up sometime. ive also seen 3 other dakotas outside my neighborhood on my street. im 17 now and am gonna be attending SCC for the ASE auto program in a little bit. but talk to you later.

Ok, I know where steveo and kicker01 live in Orlando, how about anyone else from orlando? You don't have to be specific if you don't want to. Once again I'm in the lake county area North of Apopka, but working for Orange County ( water Dept.) the area that I take care of is near hiawassee road so I'm pretty familiar with the west side of Orlando. We ( not just the Orlando People) need to get together some day. Don't tell me I'm the oldest guy here, steveo your 17, I just turned 36 feel like 18 though LOL.

Yeah a track that is still open.....I think best bet would probably be Orlando or Daytona area so everyone can get their fairly easy. Someone want to start planning this??

Hey Fla people. I live in SW Fla. The meet sounds good. I often wondered about why my area never had one. By the way, I am 19, sounds like alot of young guns around here. Orlando would be good for a meet. About dead middle of Fla. You guys work something up and post the plans. I would love to attend if I could get outa college for a day or two. Have a good one!

there is a track in Bithlo on highway 50 its open track and tuning on weds. and fri. 7-11. i wouldnt run my truck tho... its a sad sight ( cough...4 banger...cough) its my daily driver tho, i drive more than 50 miles a day, and im 17 so its good on gas. but im kinda more in it for looks, but would love to talk w/ everyone, i want a v8 so if there are any people in this area who have done it or have the know how then e mail me. o yeh i also have a g-tech thats fun to mess with. also would anyone wanna meet at the sonic on university? or where is a good place for everyone?

If y'all are looking to meet at a track, there's also one near Bradenton that does test and tune on Thursday nights and saturday mornings.

Yeah I will be there. I have the college thing to deal with also, and drive about 50 miles a day in my truck to. Lets get to planning so I can ask off from work(and get some more stuff done to my truck by then).:)

Hey yall, I just read some of the earlier emails. I just saw that there are some more guys from sw fla. I attend Edison CC. I was enrolled in FGCU but when I decided to run after Architecture at UF, I figured I could easily pay for ECC then spend the big bucks.
About my truck and LaBelle Dodge. No, I actually got this truck from my late grandfather. A year or so back. But I frequently get to Labelle Dodge for alot of stuff. I really like Tony and the rest of the guys.

So we all want to have a Florida meet. That would be cool. It's probably going to be up to whoever has the track in their town to get the ball rollin. The closest track to me is out in Immokolee and its only 1/8 mile long. Thats way to boring and who actually wants to drive out to Immokolee.

No one wants to go to Immokolee. Its like a 3rd world country out there. I live in LaBelle, 30 miles north of Imm. No stip, but a back road near my house, but it is alot nicer than Imm. I am for the Bradenton or Orlando area. More a central local. Oh yeah, lets get this going before summer gets here. Hangen out in the upper 90's is not to cool.

Every time a go through there, which is not ovten, I almost get depressed looking at that place. However, I have been to the track there. Seen a few good races too. But the croud there is, well, not my type.
I dont know about you'll, but I aint taken my slow ass Dak on no track. Maybe if I had not lifted the truck and run bigger tires I would but not anymore. But I will be happy to watch you guys tear it up.

Im all about gettin together for a meet. Orlando seems like it would be a good location to meet at. And Speedworld dragway is off of route 50 right outside orlando, it would be cool to invade the track one night. Or we could just find a vacant parking lot and hang out. We just need to plan it out in advance so we can get more people to show.

O'town for me too, Y'all! I'm a Yankee by birth but a rebel by CHOICE, by God's grace! I've been in here in Florida for over 20 years now. North Miami, Panama City, Pensacola and now Orlando for the past 16 years. Am I even close to a "native" yet!?!?

Good to see this thread still lives. Meeting all depends on where there is a track I think. Seems everyone is pretty anxious to make a few runs. I know I am. Ft. Myers has 0 tracks and the nearest is Bradenton or Morosso over in Palm Beach.
Greybeard...sorry to dissappoint but you aren't native unless you are born here. But it's good to see a turncoat...especially by God's grace.
