WILL A P275/60/R17 FIT ON A 2001 DODGE DAKOTA QUAD CAB WITHOUT ANY RUBBING. VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN DROPPED. OVERALL DIAMETER OF THE TIRE IS 30.1. DIAMETER ON P255/65/R16 IS 29.O9.

The only place you would rub I would think would be when you turn lock to lock on the contol arm or the sway bar...why do want tires that wide? Or try running narrower tires up front.

WIDTH ON 255/65/16 IS 10.04 AND THE WIDTH ON 275/60/17 IS 10.84. WOULD THAT MAKE TOO MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE

I have a 2001 dakota clubcab with 275/50/17 and they dont rub at all and are actualy rated to 149mph

Dak74, I was recently considering that size tire but decided 255/60/17 was a better choice. There are know rubbing issues with 255/60 and it gives your truck a sporty look. The sidewall height(6") gives you the right combination of looks and performance.
By the way I give a big thumbs up to the Toyo Proxes S/T 255/60/17 which are awesome tires!!
