Well boys, I am now a member of the Dakota Owners. Picked up me 2001 SLT Plus ClubCab last night with the V8 in Patrion Blue. Has the tow pkg, tire and handling pkg, overhead convienence. Basically loaded minus the leather.
I am totally impressed the the power of this truck. Its been a while since I drove a V8 so this could be why I am so over taken by the power...dont know...But it sounds so sweet and I havent even added any mods yet....
Handles a hell of alot better that my 2000 LT Blazer...I can now see why you are all so in love with your Daks:)

Welcome to the club Hojo, it's a great truck I had mine for almost a year now. I always look forward to driving it every time. Just wait until you modify it, that's when the sound really comes to live.

Yea, my 2000 is the best truck that could have bought. Mods comming soon, just in time for the local tracks to open up. Hmmm, haul mulch saturday afternoon, and haul a trophy saturday night. Jeez i love my truck.

I know how you guys feel. I just moved my office back into my house and don't drive my truck as much. It is kind of a blessing becuase I would put around 30k a year on it but I still miss driving it that much
