Subject: New Dakota stutters at stop lights?
IP: Logged

Message:
Hey guys,
I just got a new 2002 5.9 4x4(optional all-wheel drive) Dakota. Quick question, the truck stutters a little at idle when I let off the brake, just before I step on the gas. Kind of feels like the tranny more than the motor. Has anyone else felt this problem? The dealer said it was just a charaterisic of the all-wheel drive system. But, I want to make sure there isn't a real issue. Any tips would be appreaciated.
Thanks,
Frank

I had the stuttering. I followed the directions posted SpeedTweaks for, "Cleaning the IAC Solenoid". Fixed my problem.
