I just got a 1999 SLT with a 5.2 V-8. I paid 13K and it only has 28K. (How did I do?) I got a carfax on it and it was clean. It also has two-tone paint and a soft bed cover and New Mich. LTX M/S tires. I love this truck! I have had two Mazda trucks (reliable but no power) and a explorer (NEVER AGAIN!) I found this site and I am truly amazed. This is one of the best truck sites I have ever seen. It feels good to be apart of the Dakota family!

Congats on your new baby! I'm not an expert on vehicle values but it sounds like a good deal and if you like it, it is a good deal! When you surf around in this sight, the value from experiences , ideas and comments from members is invaluable and will have you spending money before you have it, I mean before you know it. Time spent here is time well spent, IMHO Hope you enjoy your new truck, sounds like a nice one. I'm sure after a little time reading what these guys (and gals do) that your truck will become more enjoyable with each coming money order, I mean day. Sorry about the typos.

Sounds like you got a good deal to me. I just got my first as well. I got a 00 V6 extended cab sport with 30,000 miles. I paid $13,100 for everything (including tax, licence and all that other stuff) and I thought I got a good deal. Seems like you out did me.
