So it's my birthday and I decide my wife can drop me off at my class and come and get me afterwards. I get out of class and there she is, with the truck. As we are walking to it, she says "Don't be mad at me." Instantly, I feel a hot flash and sweaty palms.

So I get up to it and it isn't bad. Driver-side rear wheel flare had a nick in it the size of a quarter. I shrug it off and tell her not to worry. Of course I stuck in a few jokes on the way home.

One week later. Same scenario. I get dropped off. This time I don't have to wait for the picked up part. When she left the parkingspace, she cut the wheel too soon and I took a descent scrape (and accompanying dent) about a foot long on the passenger side at the beginning of the bed. I was like, DAMN!

I htought she could drive. What's that saying?

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

ok now that we are spilling our guts.
i let my wife drive my truck any time she wanted to.so one day she is in a parking lot trying to make a left onto a busy street with traffic stopped at a light.so she inches out and some lady goes around traffic and with the big dumbo mirrors(as ive read some people refer to them on this site)it blocks her view and she takes out the quarter panel on a toyota camry.as there is only scrapes to my front bumper so im happy.so 3 months later we decide to trade in the caravan and buy a durango that just came off of a lease.
moral of the story dont let your polish wife drive your truck he he ha ha just joking!!!
the real moral is either let your wife drive your truck or spend some bucks and buy her one for her self.

Yah I let my mom drive my truck to the garden center last year. She was in a parking garage backing out of a space, so she hits the front bumper corner on one of those cement pillars, rips the bumper off. Not bad though, now my bumpers are painted to match courtesy of her.

Yeah,

I have NO idea what it will cost to bring it back to New status, but I have a $500 deductible. One good thing is the lady whose car she scraped doesn't want to file anything. She got the least of it all.

But yeah, this sux if I want to trade it in to upgrade some day. I really want it fixed. It is just slightly pushed in, and the srape doesn't even really go thru the silver paint. anyone got nay ideas on a ballpark figure for some minor bodywork? It's low on the bde and just a baseball size dent on the cab.

Thanks,
MikeC
