I've had friends or relatives reef on my cupholder so many times that the front is pulled off, and the bottom is only connected in one corner. Has anyone had to replace theirs, and if so how expensive was it?

Same problem here. If you replace it, it will just happen again. It will still hold your drinks without the front plate.

I had the same *#@ Problem too! I had friends and relatives who smoked too much reef and did a job on my cup holder. I said, HEY you Moron, if you keep tearing up my cup holder I'm going to replace you! Sure enough, their bottom wasn't connected anymore and I haven't replaced them yet because I found out , if you do, it will just happen again. Then I was driving down main street, ( I live in the Midwest, we still call it main street) I seen this nice looking cup holder, and I yelled out my window at her and said HEY YOU WHY DON'T WE GET TOGETHER AND / What was that Honey? NO I'm not on the internet, I'll be right up to go to bed. Sorry Lesley, I hope you find a salvage yard with some parts, really I'll check around this area and if I find something I'll let you know. (How about trading some secret canadian fishing hole info)

If the only problem is the front trim plate, you might want to try some epoxy glue. I have used WELD epoxy (Its a brand name, not sure who makes the stuff)to fix all kinds of plastic trim and whatnot on several of my previous vehicles. It worked very well. I had an Olds that the auto shift knob (on the column) came off, glued it back on and it held for 3 years till i sold the car. You might be able to fix it and save some cash.

Quick question. whats your (Lesley) definition of reef? Because I'm rather clueless as to its meaning right about now. Heh. But anyways. I don't have a problem with friends ruining my cup holder in the truck...probably because the bloody thing isnt used for holding cups. Heh. It stays open and is used to hold my cellphone.

Anyways...

Reef = reefer = pot = mary jane = marijuana.... I guess. That's what we called it back in the 60s.
My cup holder busted up too but the truck was so new that Mother Mopar replaced it under warranty. Now if they would just do something with these #*&%@ brakes.

Thanks for the suggestion Lattimer, the tabs that hold that front plate are mostly broken off, and underneath there are two screws, the entire corner holding one is gone.
Nirami, I just mean yanked it out too hard, I guess other people don't treat our trucks with the same reverence that we do! No hallucinogenic connotations intended... haven't gone there in a few years! :)

I would assume she means pull hard. But you may pull a harder with a little reefer in you.

Nope, hopefully within the next week or so. I can't wait, the truck is already so much better just with the intake & new plugs & wires. I'm still waiting for the cable to go with the TB as well.
