Message:
HEY GUYS, NICE FORUM!
I AM SERIOUSLY LOOKING INTO TRADING MY 2001 QUAD CAB THAT I BOUGHT NEW OFF THE LOT IN FEB.2001 FOR A 2002 R/T, THAT I WILL ORDER. I WANTED TO CHECK WITH SOME OF YOU GUYS AND GET AN IDEA OF ABOUT HOW LONG IT USUALLY TAKES TO GET YOUR TRUCK AFTER YOU ORDER IT. I NEED TO KNOW HOW LONG I WILL BE STUCK DRIVING MY WIFES P.O.S. COROLLA. THANKS FOR ANY INPUT!

Mine took like 3.5 weeks to 4 weeks.
You can order your truck with a $500 deposit and then trade your Quad the day the R/T comes in. that way there is no unnecessary suffering in the Corrola.

I ordered my 2000 QC, and it took 17 weeks to get it. I traded a '99 CC for it, and I drove the CC until the quad came in. I had already made the deal before the truck was ordered. There is no reason to give the dealer your current truck, until your new one arrives. If you give them your truck, and they sell it, and your new truck is not ordered correctly (wrong color, etc.), then your screwed!!!! I would trade them, after I seen what I ordered.

MY WIFES CAR WAS A GRADUATION PRESENT FROM HER GRANDPARENTS BEFORE WE GOT MARRIED. SHE LOVES THE P.O.S. FOR SOME REASON, SO GETTING RID OF IT IS OUT OF THE QUESTION.

That's funny she drives a P.O.S. and is completely satisfied with it; yet you have a realatively new vechile and are dissatisfied with it. While the Corolla is the cheapest vechile that Toyota makes it is still well built. She must realy love ya because I would tell you to walk your A$s to work if you called my ride a P.O.S.. I would be especialy upset if my grand parents got it for me and you called a P.O.S. P.S. Definately do not trade your truck until the new one arives

Carolla is a good car, nothing nearly as good as the Camry, but it's too ..."civic" for me. I'd rather an Accord or Maxima any day over one of those economy cans.

TRUST ME, I HAVE NEVER TOLD HER THAT HER CAR IS A POS, YOU ARE ACTUALLY RIGHT, THE CAR HAS NEVER GIVEN HER ANY PROBLEMS AND IT RUNS FOREVER ON FUEL. BUT I GUESS IN MY OPINION IF IT IS NOT A DODGE, I DONT THINK TOO HIGHLY OF IT. I HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH MY QUAD, I ACTUALLY LOVE IT. I ACTUALLY WANTED AN R/T WHEN I BOUGHT IT, BUT MY WIFE TALKED ME INTO GETTING THE QUAD BECAUSE SHE LIKED IT SO MUCH........THAT IS UNTIL SHE ACTUALLY SAW AN R/T THEN SHE FINALLY AGREED WITH ME.....I WISH SHE WOULD HAVE JUST KNEW THS 9 MONTHS AGO.
