Well, over the weekend my V6 blew! Anyways, the dealer called and said it needs a new engine and it's under warranty. Shre only had 48,500 on her. Poor thing... Anyhow, I was wonderinf if the dealer would put in a V8 for me and I'd just pay the difference from how the warranty will give me... If it's possible, could anyone tell me the costs of a v6 and v8 (the 318 and 360) My dak is a 97 4x4 so I think the tranny will survive a v8 turnin her. thanx for your input!

Good luck on getting the dealer to do that.
Other than a new engine you will need a new wire harness, PCM, Trans, front coil springs, fan shroud,
