Subject: RT/S vs AT/S tires
IP: Logged

Message:
A couple of months ago I traded my 99 cc dak with goodyear wrangler AT/S tires for a 2001 QC dak with goodyear wrangler RT/S tires I have noticed a huge difference in traction, (the RT/S having the better traction) the only difference is that the AT/S's were a LT (light truck) tire and the RT/S's are a passenger tire, wouldn't you think that a LT tire would get better traction than a regular passenger tire? Do they use a softer rubber compound in the RT/S's thus, giving better traction? Anybody have an explantion for this?
