 Subject: Fog Light Rock Guards

I made debris guards for my fog lights from some 1/4" screen bought at a hardware store. Cut a cirle of screen 3/4" larger than the diameter of the opening. Cut in 1/2" every 1" or so around the perimeter then fold back the "tabs". Paint with flat black for Sport or bright silver for SLT, then apply 3/16"x1/2" weatherstripping from the hardware store around the tabs with the adhesive side inward. Push fit the whole assembly into the opening for the foglights. The weatherstripping will hold the screen in the opening without damagiong the paint. The whole thing is easily removed for cleaning the lens.
Total cost? About $10.00 with paint... And you don't have to get out and remove them to use the fog lights like Dodge's plastic covers...
