Subject: Testing for exhaust in coolant IP: Logged
Message: Could I test for exhaust in my
coolant using one of those checmical
air testers with the squeeze bulb
and check valve in my coolant
reservior? 2000 4.7 Dodge Dakota.
The way the radiator cap is on a
horizontal hose rather than a filler
neck means I will not be able to
ensure the proper air space (2 to 3
inches) with the test tube placed as
instructed. Would testing the air in
the reservior (expansion tank?)
yeild the same results?
