Subject: Active Supspension?

Message:
Has or does anyone here have the Avtive Suspension from Roadmaster? I will not be using for heavy loads , I was just wondering if it improves handling(cornering)
I know it claims to when the truck is loaded, but does it make a dif. when the truck is empty?

thanks

sure does - no more wheel hop - corners better - also helps if you loose the stock shocks and upgrade

Roadmaster Active Suspensions definately are worth the money. Improves handling whether truck is empty or loaded. My brother has had them on his truck for about 3 yrs. now and has been more than happy with them. They are certainly on the list for things to get on my new '01 CC 4X4 Dak.

I got one a couple of weeks ago. I believe it was $219 direct from roadmaster (there are no distributors in my area). I haven't loaded anything heavy in my truck since the installation, but it does fine unloaded. I've noticed that on hard bumps the back end seems to stabilize much more quickly than it used to, I haven't felt that sideways hop over broken pavement, and I've had zero wheel hop since installation. The wheel hop used to be a problem under hard starts on rough pavement...not a problem this morning when I was road raging. Go to the follwing website and click the contact button and they will call within 24 hours.
