 Subject: 4.7l and 45rfe trans in a 2000 ram truck

has anyone ever swapped a 4.7l and the 45 rfe transmission into a 98-01 model ram truck? i was wondering cause i got a 2000 ram truck that has a siezed up 5.2l and the auto trans is on its way out its was slipping pretty bad between the gears. i figure its quite possible since you only have to fab the mounts up to make the drive train fit and swap the pcm and wiring harness

Find a donor truck and problem solved. You'd have everything
you need. Mounts and all.

I'd stay with a Ram just in case. You may be able to go up to
'03.
