Anyone have any suggestions on a good brush guard for under $300 or so? I just want it for looks, don't do too much off-road stuff...and maybe if I decide to take my Dak to a demo derby in 10 years...Thanks!

Go with Smittybuilt. Mine is 3in tubing and 1/4 in side metal. Very strong. Only like $170. bucks in black. Atleast for the grill guard. Then another $100 for the brush guard I think.

I got mine off of E-bay.
Just go there and search "Dakota Guard" and you will see a ton of stuff.

Keep in mind, the Durango and the Dakota are one in the same as far as the brush guard is concerned.

You can see mine at the link below.

Wow, Ayrow... I love your truck! that's almost exactly what I had planned for mine.. I've got a couple of questions..

1) what brand of grill guard and lights do you have?

2)Do you have some more detail on how you build that roof rack?? The pictures look great, but I'd love to know how involved the process would be to duplicate.

Probably best to email, I don't read this forum much..

I don't remember what brand it is, although I think it is a Westin. The lights are KC Daylighters and are awesome, to say the least.

Thanks for the compliments.

:)
