Subject: front signal with ignition

Ok guys. I thought I fixed my brake light and turn signal
problem by replacing my flasher and multi switch. Untill I
turned the ignition to on rather than acc. Now with the key in
the on position the front right signal bulbs come on and stay
on. The small side indicator is not lit. The status light on the
dash stays on as well. But with the key on acc everything
works as normal..... im so frustrated with this. Any help guys?

what year is it? did you say you replaced the turn signal switch. or is that a different switch that you replaced? brak elights and turn singl aproblems are usually in the turn signal switch. i have heard that dodge has lots of electrical problems with htier stuff. and i believe it. my 90 dak is doing similar stuff. no brake light on the drivers side on day and the next day the passenger side is the one not working. plus mu amp and oil gauges are messed up and pegged out one pegged low the other pegged high.

2002 correct changed the turn signal switch...
Basically the problem comes down to the tan wire in
the combo flasher becomes hot when the truck is
started. Like I said if I have it in accessory
everything works perfectly. Just also realized in
trying to get this fixed if I hit the hazards with
the truck running all go solid on. So what would
cause a wire to go hot on ignition that normally is
not supposed to
