 Subject: transmission problems

1990 dakota 3.9 A500 auto transmission. this happened to me last night. i just got this truck to fix and now this. the transmission when cold works fine. but once it warms up the transmission kind of kicks in and out of gear like low fluid level. then the truck if it kicks into gear will only let yo umove a few mph down the road. and if you get above 5mph it will kick out of gear and the engine will rev up on its own. checking fluid level when in neutral and warm or hot transmission. the fluid level is fine. in the hatched area. i have not serviced this transmission. i have only drove this truck 3 times since putting most fo the body parts back on the front clip. as well as another engine bay wiring harness.
