My truck has been the same way since I bought it
almost 2 years ago. I figured someone disabled it
but not sure if it's supposed to be controlled by
a CTM. I just installed a replacement CTM
yesterday and now my key fob doesn't work. I tried
going through the steps to reprogram it but since
the seat belt and other chimes don't work I'm
guessing that's the reason why I can't get the key
fob reprogrammed.

Does anyone have anything else I can try or some
other explanation why it won't work?

You can't.

In order to program the fob you need one already
working to put it into programming mode.

See a dealer or locksmith.

Thanks AandP. That's what I figured but hoped there
was something I could do myself.
