 Subject: Loud clunk after hard brake

2004 DakotaQuad cab: When I brake very hard and quick, I hear a lound clunk on the front drivers side(one time), then the truck pulls hard to the left when driving. I can fix the issue by backing up and turning hard right (loud clunk again), then the truck drives perfect. I have had this looked at by several mechanics (while broke and fixed)and no one seems to know what is causing the problem. HELP! 46,000 miles

That sounds like upper control arm bushings. A competent alignment shop should be able to figure it out.
