Does the connector for obd2 spouse to have 12v present or is it lower?, I also have a intermitten problem where when in gear and accelerating little bit over 14% throtle the asd cuts in, Auto shut down, I am not posative but when i get the flash code i have a 12 and 55, but unsure what the code is for, one says 12 is just has to power to distributor/system pass, then other says ecm doesn't have correct volage running to it thats for 12, 55 says o2 fault or ecm fault, the only code stored in there when placed on scanner is for bad o2, tried to use snapon scanner but has connection error, thats what leads me to believe there is a bad ground or bad power comming to ecm, any suggestions, i have no wiring diagram other wise i would have tested the volage coming into ecm and ground for ecm but don't know witch wires are what, any suggestions or help would be appreciated, also tested cps (crankshaft position sensor) spouse to be open, circuit is close and tested terminal b and c got readings fluxiation between 5.56 ohms to 8ohms, next day problem does not reacure and cps is open circuit again as a good cps should be

the snapon obd2 scanner only connects to the ecm when cranking and stays connected for 2 seconds then disconnects, the obd2 scan hook up has full battery voltage, all other scanners hook up but snapon is there something wrong with the scanner

Code 12 and 55 indicate that this is an OBD1
system = OBD11 will not work with this .
.
What you may well need to check is the 'Splice'
under the underhood fuse/relay box .
About 8 inches down the wiring harness find a splice of 3 or 4 wires , undo it, restrip
ensure clean copper , redo it = solder , or good quality butt crimp splice , tape up .
.
Also check ground/chassis connections
ground for ecm is probably on alternator bracket .
Code 55 is 'end' of codes = just means that only.
