Message: anyone ever had oem chrome plated wheels. Seems the plating is starting to flake. Any suggestion would be appreciated. As a temporary fix, I bought some chrome paint and dabbed it into the areas where the flaking is starting, the flaking is minimal for now as the touch up is hardly noticable. How does chrome plating start to flake. Can certain wheel cleaners be that harsh?
