okay so i got a 01 dakota single cab v8 and i wanna take the little flip down console! (the middle) and the drink holder on the floor out! i want to put in the R/T center console! but will it fit n bolt up perfect? plz let me know

I am not sure if they will bolt up perfect, however I do know that if
it is anything like my '97, you have to grind off the stupid rivets
holding the center console to the two front seats/the floor. I
learned that the hard way when I thought I could just take the
driver seat out and it was riveted to the supports of the center
seat/console. At that point, you might as well take the whole front
seat assembly out and take care of it outside of the truck.
