 Subject: 1999 Dakota P1762 P1763

I got these codes on my truck (from the local
AutoZone). The truck is very sluggish in drive but
is better (more normal in 2nd). All gears seem to
work with the exception of 1st.
The read-out for both of these codes is "Detected
the governor pressure sensor input was too high"
Probable causes: Internal transmission failure
(OUCH) or Open or shorted circuit condition.
Any suggestions or experience with this?

First , check that wiring to trans sensors are ok and connected .
If these ok , then probable bad sensor .
