I sent an email to DC engineering asking about swapping out my standard-payload suspension for the max-payload option to get a little more lift -as mentioned in some previous posts. I figured that should be less expensive than an after-market lift kit AND be covered under warranty!

Well, I got the classic "corporate leagle-ease" in response! "DC does NOT recommend lifting our vehicles!" Duh, NO SH*T! I simply asked about a "factory installed" option and some corporate-type female blew me off with a "politically-correct response". Sounds like they're scared from the Ford/Firestone debacle!

So much for "customer service" from corporate headquarters! I suppose I'll just have to ask a service manager (with a LOT more testosterone) at my local dealership!

Hey, they are just covering their ass. If this
lady told you, ya go ahead with your mod and
you got killed because it flipped, she would be
liable since "DC does not reccomend..." well
you get the picture.
