I have a question about the CTM in my 02 DD 4x4 sport. Read through all the formums about RKE not working, headlights flashign, dashboard lights flashing and all that which points to a new CTM (central timer module). Dealer says they can order one for about 267.00. I would need the one for power door locks and there is one that is without power door locks. Anyway, Has any one replaced one of these and what all needs to be programed to the new CTM beside the key fobs for my keyless entry? I am just trying to save a few bucks and replace myself.

Kyle. Search around online. I picked up a new one on ebay for $35. Check local wrecking yards, too.
But before you spring for a new one, try resetting the connectors. Unplug one, then plug it back in, then do the next one, until you've done them all. See if that corrects your problems.
NOTE: Always disconnect the battery before unplugging the ECU, CTM, or any other module that has power when the vehicle is not running. When in doubt, disconnect the battery. As you have found, these modules aren't cheap.
