I have a 2000 4.7L 4x4. I am interested in determining if the transmission that I have is the one that came with the truck from the factory. Is there anyway identification on the transmission that could then be tied to a particular VIN number? If so, where is it located?
I would assume that I have to go to Dodge to get verification that I have the original equipment. Does anyone know that process?
