i have a 95 dodge dakota ext cab, 5.2 crate motor with 10 000 on it, and i also have a 2000 dakota quad cab, now i am have ing a hard time getting rid of my 95 because it it so asowme, but my cab mounts are done, so i want to see if it is possible to put my 2000 body on my 1995 frame, i really think not but what the hell if you don not ask you do not know,

Measure...measure...measure.
Measure the distance between body mounts...
Measure distance between body mounts and wheel openings...
Measure (compare) widths/ lengths of the two frames...
If it does not bolt right up, and you 'really' want to do this, you can have the mounts on the frame re-located to match up to the mounts on the `00 cab.
When you say the cab mounts are done, are you referring to the rubber pieces, or where the bolts acually go into the cab. I would think you could replace the rubbers (Heh...he said, "rubbers") and keep the original cab.
Another Option would be to get a cab from a salvage yard. They could probably tell you what to do as far as VIN #s also.
