hey everyone.
I may be getting a dak with a blown 3.9 motor. it comes with a 5 speed, and 2wd. I was thinking of dropping in a 4bt 3.9 cummins for a project.

Does anyone know what kind of extra parts i would need to pick up? anything from motor mounts to throttle cables and such? and know where to look for items? any specific 3.9 cummins? apparently the stock trans should bolt right up to the diesel?

Any feedback would be appreciated....with the exception of smart@ss stuff. It's a lot of questions, please try to stomach what you can and help me out.
Thanks

you need to check your state laws
some states will not allow a vehicle to be registered after converting from gas to diesel

Why would that be? If it's a used vehicle "lets say a 95) and if using a ISX 3.9 Cummins I would think that state laws should not interfear.
