I changed the clutch out this weekend on my 2002 Dakota after 80,000 miles of flawless operation. The clutch was still engaging, but it seemed to be further off the floor than when it was new. I'm going on a long trip and wanted to make sure that I won't have any clutch issues. I replaced the stock clutch with a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch. Everything in the transmission appears to be operating quietly as advertised. My one issue seems to be with the transfer case. I don't have any lights at the transfer case selector switch any more. It also appears that I can't shift into 4Hi or 4Lo. Anybody else experience this issue?
