I have a 2001 QuadCab and when I place the climate selector to blow air out from below only (the picture with the arrow pointing at the driver's legs), the dashboard vents whistle like a teapot!
It only does it on this one setting.
I'll have the dealer look at it at my next maintenance, but I wondered if anyone else had this problem.

yep, many people have reported this problem and that is the reason i came to this excellent website to research this topic. the conclusion is that dodge is aware of the problem but has no fix yet. mine does it. the dealer reccommended getting it in and documented. that way, if your warranty expires and they don't have a fix, it will be no charge when they do get a fix.
it is annoying!!

actually (see previos msg) mine does not whistle but has a loud air noise when set to floor only.
