I hope they do too! Then all of the wages that the unions have fought for can drop for everyone. How about the poor management of the company, should they go unpunished? It is morons like you that are driving this country back down to the age where the companies really screw the worker. Are you sucking Obama's d!ck and he has his hand up your a$$ using you as a puppet?

Go F.ck yourself Nancy Pelosi!

Can't $hitcan the UAW. The UAW owns 55% of the company so now they control all the business decisions including wages, benefits, pensions, etc.

This is thanks to Obama who promised them this for the UAW support and the UAW votes.

Did not a airline company get controlled by a Union org. and then had to turn around and file for bankruptcy?

The reason why Obama was voted in is due to emotions and that’s it. It had nothing to do with him being just a smooth talking. The fact is Obama is not a true Christian and any so called Christian who voted for him after they knew what he really stood for should really question why they even bother to go to church on Sunday morning!!!!

BTW: not saying that Bush was a true Christian either, after all he did state that people just have there own way of getting to heaven and that allha is the same God that Christians worship which is false.

I doubt wages would drop for everyone if uaw contracts are invalidated. There have been many mistakes by management at these companies and one of the most glaring of these are these contaracts. There are thousands of uaw workers sitting in halls collecting full paychecks because of these contaracts. Is that fair to anyone? I resoundingly say hell no. The company that is honoring these contracts is losing money hand over fist in no productivity. The customer is paying untold amounts more for vehicles to pay for theses idled workers. If this practice keeps up then we all will lose as a major employer will go out of business because of a harmful practice of "protection" from the evil corporations that employ these protected workers. Leys not even get into the inflated salaries of these contracted workers.

STS, we don't know why you bother to go to church or preach christianity. It doesn't sound right connected to the hate speach you constantly spew.

ecdak, it is a fact that unions have helped everyone in terms of wages and benefits. They've risen with the success of unions, and could go down as unions get less. Did you know that the labor cost is less than 10% of the cost of a new vehicle? Yet in this sick society we live in, union workers have been unfairly targeted in the auto industry, while CEOs in bailed out finance have been allowed to keep their obscene bonuses. Socialism for the rich, but not for real workers. People need to hear the rest of the story.

"Socialism for the rich, but not for real workers"

So you surport socialism for the poor so that can stay poor?

"it is a fact that unions have helped everyone in terms of wages and benefits. They've risen with the success of unions"

Not that UAW! The reason why GM had to sell cars at such high prices is because of intense union rages and also high pensions and health care coast.

True, a union is also a good idea for any factory worker, but not a good idea when there bankrupting the company.

I guess Todd aka(the Idiot) doesnt belong to a union either otherwise he would know the unions go hand in hand with the democratic party. They would rather see a company go under, than relinquish power, at some point you have to realize your beloved union is killing the American auto makers, and in turn that will kill the Unions as well. GOOD :)

im all for treating workers fairly
but REALLY?
$55 per hour to work and assembly line?

why should unskilled labor make mroe than trained skilled labor?

as a machinist i make $23/hour and took me a hell of a lot longer to learn my job than point wrench, pull trigger
